Christmas Eve
Checklist of NICE stuff.
Here’s a quick last minute reminder of some lovely
last minute Christmas Eve fun before the big man visits.
#1 Last Minute Silly Wrapping
If you have some wrapping paper left
why not wrap up some daft things for a bit of fun,
and to slow down the opening frenzy.
Toilet roll is funny.
So are sprouts.
#2 Reindeer Poo
Couple of bags of Maltesers on the lawn
or the fireplace should do the trick.
Dirty Rudolph
#3 Busy Boxes
For those of you that have made Xmas Eve boxes
Now is the time to enjoy them!
Brightly decorated boxes filled with new jim-jams, slippers, colouring and a good old Christmas Family flick gives you all a cosy calm before the storm.
#4 Xmas Walk
Why not wrap up warm and go hunting for pine cones holly and other natural goodies to decorate the festive table.
#5 Light Some Candles
For those of both the religious and non-religious persuasions –
Light is an essential part of the mid-winter tradition.
And what could be more festive and pretty than a Xmas Eve night by candlelight?
#6 Don’t Forget Santa
What’s he having? Mince Pie? Carrot for Rudolph?
And Santa, I’m told, LOVES a glass of Brandy
#7 Bye Bye Elves
Elf on the shelf has gone MAD this year.
We’ve loved seeing your hilarious (and sometimes downright #filth) pictures.
Tonight’s the night they go back to help Santa so don’t forget to leave their farewell note.
#8 Send Santa’s Letter
If you have a real fire, tradition says you need to send it up the chimney.
If not – then leave it out with Santa’s snack.
#9 Birdies need Xmas treats too.
Our feathered friends are especially grateful for some extra food.
If you put it outside your little ones window they might wake up to a magical visitor having their breakfast.
#10 Don’t peak too soon
Christmas Morning with a hangover and excited children… not a great combination.
Just saying!
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve everyone
