What You Need:
- 150g rolled oats
- 6tbsp raw honey
- 120g wholewheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 50g Dark Chocolate, whizzed in food processor (ooh, cheeky)
- 80g dried cherries
- 85g sliced almonds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 60ml coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar
What You Do:
- Butter or oil an 8×8 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Place the mixture onto the prepared baking pan and pat it down firmly so that it’s 1/2″ thick.
- Tip *use a large baking sheet, push the mixture to one side and cover the exposing edge with a thin piece of foil to prevent it from getting hard in the oven*
- Bake at 180c for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting.
