Action 4: Post-it Priority List

**note** I still don’t want you to start doing anything about your list yet.

Wait until we finish tomorrow’s action
and it will much easier.

  • Grab some post-it notes.
  • Then write each of your must-dos on a post-it note.
  • One ‘must-do’, per post-it.
  • It’s a great idea to have a permanent board/wall for these,
  • Put them in order of importance.

Do certain things have to happen before other things?
Doing the most important things is what’s going to give you the most reward.
They’ll give you the greatest payoffs in terms of banishing your overwhelm and stop things tripping you up.

The order of your list goes:

  1. Most Urgent and Important thing
  2. 2nd Most Urgent and Important thing
  3. 3rd Most Urgent…

If you come to one that definitely needs to be done,

1. Suck it up, get it done, (but not yet!)
2. Give it to someone else to do

To recap:

  1. Get your to-dos onto post-ts
  2. Order them from MOST URGENT/IMPORTANT to least
  3. Delegate or woman up and plan for the tricky one you’re avoiding.

  • We’d love to see your post-it chart – over in the group

Have a great day.
