There are lots of ‘goroos’
Who just repost and recycle work that other people have done.
And we don’t like doing that
(doesn’t seem right and it’s lazy)
But we saw a video this week that make us stand on our chairs
salute
and shout “allelujah”.
The main lie that we have to compete against
when people are looking at The Project
versus all the other options out there
Is that getting into shape, and healthy…
is a quick fix.
Of course you can follow a ‘rapid weight loss plan’
or starve yourself slim
but you always end up more miserable
and bigger.
It’s very seductive to hear that you can drop two
dress sizes in a month,
but if in 6 months you are actually bigger than when you started
then it is just a scam.
And while that would be ‘good’ business on the account
(sign em up, get testimonials 4 weeks in)
and forget about em…
It would be hideous karma.
It’s at the bottom of this email for you to watch
(It’s funny and we really really wish we had made it.)
We are concerned with the rest of your life.
We don’t want you to come back and need to spend more money.
We want to lead you through lots of Eureka moments
that reprogramme the way you think and do things. We give you 6 months to get through that tricky bit
where you are establishing new habits
and learning everything.Staying on your back.
Checking up on you and making sure you do the things you say.It is not an easy solution at all.
But it’s the right one.
It’s the one that lets us sleep at night
because we know we are actually helping people succeed
and not tricking them out of money and effort.
And at times… you’ll probably get totally fed up with us
you might even want us to get off your back.
Stop nagging.
Truth is… we have done this long enough now
that we have heard every excuse in the book.
Heard every reason you can’t possibly exercise today
or your family won’t eat healthy food
or you haven’t got time to plan your meals
or meditate every day.
And know the TRUE answers to give you
that demolishes the fiction.
So know if you do The Project
it is not a quick fix
it isn’t easy
it’s not an easy optionThat weight took a while to put on
and it damn well won’t come off permanently in four weeks.
It’s a bit of a test of character.
We never give up on people
and we never lose our patience
but if you do it properly
It is the permanent solution.
If you want a quick fix
it really isn’t for you.
But if you are ready to sort out
Healthy eating, emotional eating, anxiety, low mood, getting fitter, losing fat, feeling calmer, streamlining your life shopping for food wisely, working with your hormones, breaking your sugar addiction, taking control of alcohol…
Then maybe it’s time to stop ‘starting again’ … again.
And make it to the finish line.
It’s an investment.
But less than a cup of coffee a day.
One one that pays out for the rest of your life.
