Family/Friends Photo Shoot.

OK I have previous with this, and so might you.

My slight horror story was going along to one of the professional places, each of us being somewhat insulted in one way or another by the photographer – the photos were dreadful and they wanted a fortune.

I didn’t buy any.

However – other photographers are available.
That was a long time ago, and the lovely thing is
– great cameras are available to most of us now, in the form of our smartphones.

Even my rubbish one.

What you do need though, is someone else.
(I’m betting you are in way fewer photos than other members of the family because you’re always behind the camera)

And yes, there’s the timer – but it’s not the same.

So.
You could ask a friend, or on your timeline, if someone could be free to take some family shots.
Or friend group photos.

Or pay a professional to come to you.

You could even ask at your local college or Uni if a photography student might like the challenge for an affordable rate.
You could end up with something seriously unique.

Gather together some props and outfits.
Think about a cool venue (or even cool parts of your house and garden)

Make sure each member has individual shots as well.
Take funny pictures. Take serious pictures. Take candid shots.
Bring your favourite possessions.

The joy of digital photography is that you can take as many photos as you like and delete what doesn’t work.

So how about it?
A photo shoot with your favourite people?
I bet you’ll treasure the pictures forever.
