So in the Sex Life
of a Goldfish…it goes like this:
Girl goldfish choose their boy goldfish because they are the brightest coloured.
This is because they know that they are the strongest and healthiest, so their baby goldfish will be too.
BUT
If there are two boy goldfish, pretty similar in colour, an interesting thing happens….
You would think that the girl goldfishes, kind of divide themselves between the two handsome boys.
NO. THEY DON’T.
They all go for the same one. They go for the one that got the girls first.
So there is this one boy goldfish getting all the girl ones queuing up for some fishy golden sexytime…
and they IGNORE the other one.
While the other boy is checking his breath and wondering where he went wrong….
And not getting any action.
There are training courses for human men where they learn these secrets. (yes, these things exist) and they teach them this.
The human man ‘stages’ a situation, say a party, or whatever and pay or persuade attractive female friends/stooges to flirt him outrageously.
By the end of the evening, this geeky dude is dripping in phone numbers of women who would never normally look at him.
They don’t want to miss out.
(I will tell you some of the other grubby little techniques soon – they work. It’s fascinating.)
And we think we think for ourselves and choose for ourselves…
Sneaky monkeys!
When everyone in your office talks about their Slimming Club and the complicated food rules.
Or it’s someone’s birthday and everyone’s having cakes.
It can feel as though “if everyone’s doing it – it must be the thing to do”
Standing out from the crowd isn’t an easy thing. It makes people bristle, and get defensive.
Most people I know that go/went to Slimming Clubs KNEW the stuff they were saying…wasn’t right.
But standing in a room of 70 people it’s hard not to doubt yourself.
More than 1/2 of the ladies that have done The Project so far are ex-slimming club attendees.
The story largely is the same each time. You want to lose weight Your friend recommends a Slimming Club. You go along and do the plan. You lose a bit of weight. It stays off for a while
A year later you are a stone heavier than when you started.
YUP, that wasn’t only you. That is everyone.
You try again. Same thing happens. You blame yourself.
And that is the story for between 84%-86% of the 70 people in any Slimming Club meeting.
But you only believe the 14%-16% that succeed (usually by adding exercise and better eating than the plan suggests)
You see what you look for. Everyone wants the ‘magic solution’.
Like the nerdy man isn’t actually a hunk… just because he is surrounded by hotties…
Unravelling the facts from the hype is the only way to see the truth.
That’s what we do with The Project. Find out who we are and why we do the things we do.
Coupled with real, clear, non-profiteering food coaching and exercise to get you into shape.
Mindfulness techniques to get your head in the right place to succeed
As well as helping you get to the bottom of why you find it so hard make the changes you want in the first place.
Lots of Love
