Recap

So, you have already completed

  • an audit of your time
  • logged all the things that you are doing already
  • and shone a light on how things currently are.

This is one of the most valuable exercises,
the simple act of observing and being mindful of what you are already doing
creates knowledge and starts off the process of change.

  • You rated all of the activities

to see how much enjoyment you were getting from the way that you do things now.

  • You wrote a Bridge Model

to address the activities that you gave sad faces to.

  1. where you are (current situation)
  2. where you want to be (desired situation)
  3. the solutions (how you will get there)

This model is something to keep coming back to and adding to.
Doing it weekly is a great idea.

Then we looked at some time management theories,
to see if you can identify some of your current time-related tendencies that could do with a tweak.

And then you:

  • Built your Eisenhower Matrix,

made up of all of the things that you identified in your Bridge Model,
split into sections so that you know what your priorities are.

It’s time to bring together the things you’ve learned/discovered so far.

THEN, you implement it all, review, revisit and tweak

Action – Review everything so far making sure the components above are in place
